SUMMER MINISTRY
The months of July and August proved to be the busiest and most fruitful of the year. Our camps this year were the best we’ve had since we’ve been in Romania. Brother Daniel organized all 3 weeks and everyone had a great time. We had a week with the adults, then a week with the children from 7 – 12. We had around 70 teens the following week, for a total of 137 campers this year. God has been good to us. He has really blessed our ministry here. We then did VBS with Dumbravita and Persani. Brother Ronald and Sister Marsha Witcher from First Baptist Church in Wells, Texas along with Sister Brenda taught the lessons. The Witchers also brought all the VBS supplies and materials. |

We want to thank the Witchers for coming and helping, and
thank you for graciously supporting the work. We also are thankful for Ioana,
our V.B.S. director, and all of those who helped with crafts and
translations. The kids had a great
time, and many of them have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and I know that
the Word of God has been faithfully planted in all of their hearts. |

REORGANIZATION
Something else we have done is to reorganize our work here. Over the last few years, the ministry has grown until the daily needs overwhelmed me. I had to work seven days a week from daylight till dark just to keep things going. I had become a slave to the urgent and neglected many important things. I knew that we could not keep on going like this but I had no answer. Then God gave us the insight that we needed at the time that we most desperately needed it. Over the last eight and a half years we have been training and educating nationals both in seminary and in universities. I have chosen 7 of the most dedicated students, by the leadership of the Holy Spirit, and have set up a mission team. Each has a different God given talent and ability and has been given charge over a certain aspect of ministry. So far the results have been tremendous. More people are being reached with greater results than I could ever do alone. |

THE WORK IN
GENERAL
Our Lord has richly blessed this month with a total of 7 baptisms, several professions, and many first time visitors. All of the ones coming for baptism are special, and out of these 7, I believe several will be a great help to our work. But one is extra special to me, my daughter Grace. There are few times in life that are as special as when you get to see your child dedicate their life to the Lord. As a matter of fact, I can only think of one time as special, and that is when they are born. Since my children took their first breath, I have prayed that they would both be born again. God has graciously answered my prayers!!!! |

URGENT NEED
Our most urgent need is transportation. This September 27 is the first day of seminary, and we have 17 students registered and no means to transport them all. This is an ongoing problem that has plagued us for many years. We can buy a new 15 passenger van here in Romania, which would solve this problem for many years, but we need $10,000 down and some help with monthly notes. I believe that this would be such a great relief and help to the Lord’s work. We have to transport people for Sunday school classes and church services, evangelistic teams, seminary, and the daily needs of the people we minister to. If you or your church would like to help, please contact Brother Odis or myself. May God richly bless you.
